Now Halloween is done, you all know what’s coming – Christmas!
We’re currently accepting orders for Christmas until around mid December (final date to be confirmed). You can pick up an order form from the shop to fill in or alternatively email ghburroughs@mail.com. We ask for a £10 deposit, or of course if you’d like to pay more in advance feel free, and then the remaining payment is done on the day you collect. We won’t know exact sizes of the birds and other meat until they come in and we can price them up.

As you can imagine we do take a high volume of orders, so if you want to guarantee your size of turkey we would suggest getting those order forms in by the 1st December. If you aren’t sure what size of turkey to go for, just chat to one of our butchers who will be able to help.
All our produce is sourced in the UK and as locally as possible. Our free range turkeys and geese come from Peachcroft Farm, who we’ve used for many years, our chickens, cockerels and pork come from Packington Free Range, lamb from the Cotswolds and our beef from our friends at MacDuff 1890, which we select in an annual auction.
We also make our own pigs in blankets which must be ordered in advance, plus all our usual meat, deli and Farmshop goodies, including sausages, bacon, black pudding, cheese, pies, quiche, vegetables, gravy and more.

We are open the week before Christmas and close early afternoon on Christmas eve, so plenty of days to choose from to collect your order. We don’t operate a timing system, but we do ask that you let us know what day you’re coming as it helps us organise our jam-packed fridges. The 23rd is usually the most popular day to collect and quite often there will be a queue out the door. Whilst we do have more staff in during Christmas week, there may be a little wait to pick up and of course we just ask everyone to be safe and considerate of others.
There will be plenty for everyone so no need to worry. If you have any questions just ask one of the team or email ghburroughs@mail.com.
